DiGRA 2026 Handbooks and Accessibility Guidance

These handbooks were developed as companion materials to the DiGRA 2026 White Paper: Behaviour Guidelines for DiGRA Events. They provide practical guidance for creating a safe, inclusive, accessible, and respectful conference environment for all participants, whether onsite or online.

Please use the relevant handbook for your role during the conference.

A guide for all conference participants, covering respectful participation, accessibility awareness, reporting procedures, emergency contacts, and how to seek support during the event.

A practical guide for presenters on preparing and delivering accessible, inclusive, and professional presentations, including advice on slides, language, hybrid participation, and Q&A.

Guidance for session chairs on preparing sessions, keeping time, supporting accessibility, moderating discussion inclusively, and using opening and closing scripts.

Guidance for volunteers, staff, and LOC members on roles, daily responsibilities, accessibility support, reporting procedures, and who to contact for different issues.

Important

All participants, including presenters, volunteers, session chairs, and LOC members, are encouraged to read the Participant Handbook. Please pay particular attention to the Reporting and Support section, which explains what to do if you experience or witness harassment, discrimination, accessibility barriers, or any conduct concern.
